Just 950m from one of the United Kingdom’s beautiful blue flag beaches, Botany Bay. Our beautiful cottage in Kingsgate Bay in Broadstairs, is in a quiet friendly residential neighborhood, nestled between the beautiful sandy blue flag beaches of Botany Bay leading directly to the dog friendly Viking Coastal Trail. Cycling enthusiast can cover up to 32 miles (51.4km), taking in the coast of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate before heading inland through the surrounding villages. A favourite walking route of mine is of the famed beauty spot is to walk along the coastline from Botany Bay, Kingsgate Bay and Joss Bay, walking past the North Foreland Lighthouse and 19 Hole Golf Course, then along to Stone Bay.
The area of Broadstairs was most recently voted the coolest place to live in Kent. Renowned for its nostalgic feel with a mix of retro and more stylish shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as art galleries and festivals. Botany Bay, Jose Bay and Kingsgate Bay are just some of the glorious beaches that run along the Coastal trail and cycle paths of Viking Bay, Stone Bay, Joss Bay, Botany Bay all within reach. For a little more adventure check out the nearby Golf Courses, Surf Schools, Horse Riding Stables and Kent Coast culinary delights.
A message from your host Toni. It has always been a lifelong dream to live by the beach. This is our home and as the cottage celebrates nearly 100 year it has been fondly known amongst local residence as "Toad Hall" since 1921. I hope that you too take the opportunity to explore the magic of what is known for giggles as Planet Thanet. Bask in the magic of the Kent Coast, making memories that will last you a lifetime.
