It is renowned amongst tourist and locals as a stylish coastal restaurant and bar overlooking the most picturesque spots on the British coast (and just 950m away). Another family favourite with equal accolades is The Captain Digby (750m) a superb choice for all the family. Should you be seeking a cosy and traditional lazy breakfast or afternoon tea pop over to Taddy’s Barn and Tea room (300meters) - all are wheelchair friendly and little paws are welcome. Live like a local and introduce yourself to Dora the General Manager at The 19th (watering) Hole, offering an excellent selection of beers and cask ales - just a short stagger away.

Viking Bay - Morelli’s Ice Cream- made fresh every day since 1907 opened its first Ice Cream Parlour by Mario in Viking Bay in 1932. He’s son Joe was the first to serve 8 flavours by 1959 they further when on to expand the business to a 24 flavour display. Posillipo Broadstairs - Italian. With beautiful views over the Bay, the restaurant has a rustic Osteria feel with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, great for families. Kebbells Broadstairs - Priding themselves on the freshest concept in seafood dining with views over viking bay.

The Old Town Margate - Angelas Margate - On the slighty pricey side but the food is amazing with one vegetarian dish but their effort towards a more sustainable future and community speak values.However due to its popularity you would need to book in advance.  If Angela's is out of budget you'll find a very friendly seafood pop up stand selling fresh fish outside the Tate Contemporary Museum. Should you visit the Tate Contemporary Museum - the sandwiches are huge and can be shared between two as the soup is a must try.

Broadstairs - The Chapel Bar and Bookshop Broadtairs - Great fun for a nice drink but be prepared the party often starts at midnight.

If your stay is during peak or bank holidays and you wish to dine in a particular restaurant we highly recommend booking early as Broadstairs gets very busy, and restaurants tend to be fully booked well in advance.
